Hello Everyone,
My name is Ala' Alhusseini and I recently joined the New Tactics team as the MENA Initiative Manager. Operating from Amman, Jordan, the MENA initiative will provide a space for all Arabic-speaking people who have the interest in joining dialogues and discussions related to human rights issues.
I encourage all of you to have a look at the description of our MENA component and please feel free to send me topics that you think are worth discussing in the future once the website is up and running.
The MENA initiative will also work on providing face-to-face training in Egypt and Tunisia to come up with skilled New Tactics methodology trainers that will contribute to other efforts in the region for building the capacities of Human Rights Activists.
I am so excited to be part of this and really looking forward to sharing and exchanging stories and experiences with all of you.
Ala'

Welcome Ala!
Congratulations on your membership to New Tactics, and your anticipated great work as MENA Initiative Manager. What a great region in which to make a contribution. I look forward to interacting and learning from the new members joining the dialogues and discussions. Good luck and blessings on your work, and the teaching and learning of human rights. Face-to-Face training for citizens of Egypt and Tunisia is exactly what is needed in this time of revolution. As we know, New Tactics are not restricted to advanced technology. We share in your excitement and enthusiasm.
